Guided Actuators CX2 slide units offer highly accurate positioning and smooth operation with large forces. Its compact design and low profile accommodate minimum space requirements to meet many design applications. CX2 units are available in three bore sizes and strokes from 1" to 8". Through- holes in the housing provide for direct load mounting or fixed positioning of the body. Optional auto-switches may be mounted either directly to the body housing or on an end-plate supported rail.
Slide Tables (Compact Slide) Guided cylinders utilize guide rods mounted parallel to the piston rod to provide stable, non-rotating, high side load performance. SMC offers dual rod, slide table, heavy duty and precision models. Like rodless cylinders, SMC guide rod cylinders reduce rod bending, piston bending and uneven seal wear.
